Rosa's testimony: "When my neighbor proposed to me to participate in the chatbot CoActuem per la Salut Mental, I hesitated. Mental health? I'm far away, I tell her, I know your son, only contact. But then I think about the husband of another friend, who hasn’t gotten out of bed in years, and in my cousin who spends hours on the couch unable to do anything.I think of my husband who one day decided to take his own life. Mental health? I'm not far away. Invisible, but very close. I joined the chatbot!"
Mercè's testimony: "Physical illness? We have people nearby who live with a physical illness. And we talk about it in the restaurant or when we go for a walk on Sunday mornings. Mental illness? We don't think of commenting on it, not on we know nothing ... we silence her so much that she doesn't seem to exist. I decided to participate in the CoActuem per la Salut Mental chatbot to help make mental health more visible.
Joan's testimony: "A friend suggested I take part in the Telegram CoActuem per la Salut Mental chatbot. I did it for her and because it's a subject I realize I don't know. I have co-workers I know who suffer and I don't know how to approach them. I haven't had many of the experiences explained or I don't know if anyone I know has had them. Sometimes I doubt if my answer can be useful. My friend tells me that it is and she encourages me to keep going. I'm slowly getting to know situations that I didn't care about and now they make me thin."
