What's CoAct for Mental Health?
Our goal is to understand how mental health social support networks work and propose actions to strengthen them.
How do we work?
CoAct for Mental Health is a citizen social science project. Citizen social science involves citizens who share a social concern as co-researchers and co-actors of the research. In this case, the co-researchers are people with lived experience in mental health, or family members.
Citizen social science is inspired by citizen science, an increasingly widespread model of scientific research that counts with the active participation of the general public or especially interested groups. It can cover any scientific discipline, from astronomy to archeology to medicine.
